Stage 2: The Provider’s Post-Mortem
Send us Fan Mail
- The Post-Mortem Phase: This stage begins when the initial shock has worn off, and the reality of financial and logistical changes (e.g., two households on one income) sets in.
- Self-Blame: Many men in this phase blame themselves for a "provider failure" because the finances and assets ("the math") no longer add up. The central message is to recognize that this self-blame is unwarranted.
