DS9 "Past Prologue" S1E3

Very funny, incredible episode breakdowns with excerpts from the show which makes it very interesting.
Good Audio Effects, Bad Discussion
Nice incorporation of audio from Star Trek: TNG that enhances the experience, but the commentary is of a comedic style that is just not a good match for a more mature and intellectual show like Star Trek: TNG.
If they just ditched the comedy and focused on a more serious intellectual analysis of the show, that would be better.
Do you like a well run and totally professional podcast? Then move along! This one has a lot of music queues (like, A LOT. More than you think are possible) a lot of off topic talk and Frank Sinatra (come on!). Yes, you read that right, Sinatra.
It also has a lot of improv, really interesting insight about TV writing, and thoughtful talk about the show. Matt with his Trek knowledge and Andy with his… Andyness make this pod a delight. Cameos from Beau and Omar also add to the delightfulness.
So listen, you’ll like it. Unless you’re a real Jelico.
(The listeners of this show are also among the most witty, clever, and artistic you’ll find. They are equally deserving of a shout out.)
