Based on the infamous comic series from Marvel Comics, behold a grand adventure over thirty years in the making.

More Like Old Radio

I agree with other reviewers who wrote the material isn’t super great. I can’t judge if it is faithful to the original, but did note that it’s somewhat hokey and some of it hasn’t aged well. Also, some of the sound isn’t great through earphones, too ouchy, and is super hard to decipher the dialog without Voice Boost. So maybe it’s engineered more for radio than podcast? But ... it’s thoroughly produced with full soundscapes and voice work and in the Star Wars universe, so big thumbs up for that! Some episodes were more engaging to me than others (I positively noted Episode 5, for example, compared to Episode 2 which was quite problematic for me material-wise).

Wow, what a great surprise for fans of Jaxxon & Amaiza- we’re out here!

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I’d get to see Jaxxon and Amaiza - and Valance! Brought to life. And with such amazing production quality too! The voices cast are perfect especially finding someone to bring Jaxxon to life. The voice has a manages to have a slight trace of a cartoon without being cartoonish - there’s a strength and toughness to it. If he’s ever animated (or CGI-d) this man is perfect for the job. The guy who does Han is also perfect! And the background noise, music and sound efx are amazing! Clearly this was a labor of love - thank you! Younger fans who never got to read the material seem to have a lot of trouble with Jax, but he, Amaiza and Vance are loved by many of us! It’s why Marvel had them return in a story in 2019.
