A podcast that throws you down movie-memory lane
The Final Closure Episode
Celey & Nora get on the mics one last time to discuss all their favorites, takeaways, and biggest surprises after 7 years of doing this podcast. Almost 280 movies later, what on earth have we learned!? Thank you for being with us and tuning in. We love you. Watch movies.
Episode 282: Now and Then
It is fitting that for our LAST EPISODE we finally tackle the movie that inspired the podcast. There's so much to love and so much to discuss and so much nostalgia. Plus? A perfect soundtrack. Director Carlyn Hudson and writer/fellow podcaster Becca Roth join us for one last (bike) ride!
Episode 281: Dodgeball
Do all the jokes in this movie hold up? Absolutely not. But did we all find ourselves giggling more than a little? Absolutely yes. Dodgeball is a rare one, and we have comic, podcasting pro, and all-around athlete Shelby Wolstein join us for our penultimate episode!
Episode 280: Drop Dead Gorgeous
Whether it's your favorite movie EVER or you find it to be a crime against humanity (both frequent opinions!) there's no denying DDG is always floating around the zeitgeist. Pod vet, Emmy winner, and DDG truther Chrissy Shackelford joins Celey & Nora to discuss a film so uniquely layered, it's one of our longest episodes ever! Strap in, and strap on your tiaras.
Episode 279: All I Wanna Do (aka Strike!)
A movie with 2 titles, and at LEAST 3 different movies inside it. The cast is amazing, the outfits are sublime, and the plot is...confused. Pod vet & Replacements superfan Chloe Gatta joins the pod for one last ride!
Episode 278: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
What if. What IF we were excellent to each other? An absurdly hopeful and absurdly stupid film, that is somehow...charming? This is a movie that has, simply, 'no calories.' Nick Pappas joins Celey & Nora to break down everything fun about Bill & Ted, and discuss the stupidest A+'es they ever got in high school.
It’s like reliving your childhood!
I LOVE Still Got It! It’s so much fun to relive these movies from our childhood. The Good. The Bad. The God, how did THAT get made?! As a frequent listener (and sometimes guest co-host 😉) Celey and her co-hosts always sound like they’re having the BEST time and I end up cracking up right along with them!
These movie picks are so perfect. Love this podcast!
I mean, /I/ enjoy it, so I'm assuming /you/ will.
