Very informative

I got a slow start to this one as thru no fault of anyone the voice was off. But that gave way to a world of facts and personal narrative from a war I knew about but not in depth.

The depth of knowledge imparted here is amazing and feeling like I am hearing from family on the front. Who could imagine the chaos on the field of battle and the resulting carnage from such battles over very small acreage.

The pronunciation of towns and battle sites is interesting to find how some of the more famous ones are to be spoken.

I have only recently started at the beginning and am in the Somme at the moment but I would highly recommend this podcast to anyone wanting to know more on WWI
