    Episode 6: Dead Men March

    Episode 6: Dead Men March

    TRIGGER:
This episode features one small segment, around 45 seconds to a minute long, in which I go into detail regarding chlorine gas and what it does to living humans. It is NASTY. This is your first written warning, and you'll have a verbal warning around two minutes before the description.

Today we cover the events of the Battle of Osowic, also known as the Attack of The Dead Men. This event marks the brutal World War One battle, in which chlorine gas would be used against Russian defenders, to devastating effect. We talk a little bit about how chlorine gas works and what it does, the major loss of life it caused, and so on. Our event of the day is the ever famous "Ides of March", which lead to the assassination of Julius Ceaser in Rome.

    Episode 5: Salem

    Episode 5: Salem

We talk a bit about the Salem Witch Trials, and the European Witch Trials. The episode was super late, so enjoy TWO random events, the first one being a little bit of information about the 5th state of the US, and the second being some useless stuff about the HMS Investigator. There's no guest speaker since its *checks clock* 1AM and everyone I like is asleep.

Super big shout out to my best friend Michelle for writing this episode for me, she did a fantastic job since I had writers block for THE WHOLE TIME.

    Episode 3: Dark Science

    Episode 3: Dark Science

We discuss Nazism, human experiments, and how a super storm killed thousands of people and wrecked a large portion of the Royal Navy in 1703. Nathanial Cole joins me for the Q&A, we don't banter, but he knows what he's talking about.

Naturally, there is a trigger warning for this episode. Its gonna get dark, and nasty, and I give a few chances to back out.

Episode 2: The Enemy of My Enemy

Episode 2: The Enemy of My Enemy

A brief description of The Battle of Castle Itter. Plus, what Castle Itter is. And, a LOT of apologies for the delay. Elena knows nothing about this event, and its kinda sad.

Episode 1: To Blot the Sun

Episode 1: To Blot the Sun

The Battle of Thermopylae, the Stand of Sparta, the strange interruption of one of our cats, and the total lack of response from my roommate Micheal. What was this major battle of the Greco-Persian War, and how did it change the face of history?  Today's random historical events covers some stuff about WWII, the release of the ball point pen, and a song by Mozart.

Cass3499. ;D ,

Always interesting

The podcast is just long enough to listen to on my commute to work and while I do little tasks around the house. I really like how it starts out with the host giving us the historical information on what he is talking about and then it transitions to him talking about the information/topic with a guest. It’s really refreshing and a good change from people talking at us. The host keeps things interesting by covering a range of historical facts from things that are covered in your history books to historical lore.
