Marketing Through A Recession
Late last year we heard talks about whether the economy was headed into a recession. While it looks like most of those fears went away, the economy is still on shaky grounds. This is why it's important to consider what your business can manage if the economy takes a downturn. Marketing is traditionally one of the first things that get scaled back when entering a recession, but for most online businesses, it's exactly the wrong time to be doing that! In this episode, I'm chatting with marketing strategist Cora Kessler about how to market your business when the economy is heading south.
Cora is the founder of Small Magic Studios, a digital marketing strategy company for small businesses. She supports entrepreneurs to get unstuck in their branding and marketing with thorough strategic planning and implementation. She has spoken on panels about influencer marketing and led award-winning campaigns for Fortune 500 brands. Small Magic Studios offers digital marketing plans, one-on-one strategic coaching, and a self-guided course.

Shifting Your Relationship with Fear
Running a business can be scary. Especially when we don't have anyone around us that has done it before. Fear often stops us from doing things in our businesses that can be transformative. But reconciling that fear while still pushing ourselves into new territory, is often what we need to do in order to see big changes in our business. In this episode, I'm chatting with success strategist Linda Perry about how to shift our relationship with the fear we have when running a business and how to use it for our success.
Linda Perry is a success strategist who combines mindset tools with strategic implementation to help small business owners crack the code to greater success. After working with hundreds of business owners, Linda shares that the key to uncovering freedom, making more money, and buying back your time begins with a Mindset First approach and shows clients how to ditch their head trash to get ahead.
Linda is also a recovering attorney & copywriter and uses her skills of persuasion to show business owners how to scale and make the impact they desire. Linda works with clients through her private coaching, group courses, and workshops. She is also the lead business instructor at Levin Life Coach Academy where she teaches new coaches how to build a thriving coaching practice.
Unlock greater confidence and self-connection through guided prompts and lessons with Linda's 10-Day Confidence Reboot. Over the course of Ten Days, you’ll receive a daily email with a thought-provoking quote, mindset perspective, and a question (or questions) to help spark truth, connection, and yes - greater confidence. What You Should Be Measuring In Your Business
Your business' financials tell a much bigger story than you probably realize. But you have to make sure you're capturing the correct data first. Figuring out what we should be measuring in our business (because it's more than just income and expenses) can help us find out which of our services has the most significant profit margin, how much we're really earning, and so much more. In this episode, I'm chatting with Profit Advisor Heather Zeitzwolfe about all the things that matter when it comes to money in our business.
Heather is a CPA, Profit Advisor, and Money Coach that helps female entrepreneurs achieve their financial goals in their business and personal life. She describes herself as down to earth, non-judgemental, and actually enjoys all this number stuff so you don’t have to. Heather is analytical and creative; she’s a bundle of positive energy, far from the “boring” accountant stereotype. Heather has a strong passion for veganism, standing up for civil rights, and saving the environment. Her guilty pleasures include binge-watching RuPaul’s Drag Race and scarfing down salted caramel cashew ice cream. When she’s not glued to her computer, she loves creating delicious food, hanging out with her hubby, cuddling her three cats, and serving as an officer for her Toastmasters’ club.

Building a Community with Like Minded Collective
One of the tenets of my own business is that you should find your people and create genuine connections. I'm a big believer in community building (that's why I have the Strategy for Creatives Facebook group!). Much of our business's success relies on who we know and the community we have around us. In this episode, I'm chatting with Inbal Claudio, founder of Like Minded Collective, on her journey building a social media platform to foster community among women business owners and what it was like to create in tech.
Inbal was born in Israel, and aside from a 4-year stint in North Carolina has spent the majority of her life in Southern California where she currently lives with her husband and 2 little daughters. As a candle maker turned tech founder, her passion for networking with women entrepreneurs led her to create Like Minded Collective, a social media platform for dreamers, creators, and female founders. Her mission is to make sure every single female founder, no matter what stage of business they’re in, knows how incredible they are!
