my favorite podcast

As a film shooter, and a sometime street photographer this is one of the most well rounded podcast, a great variety of guest, and love the host perspectives and attitudes. Great work! And I love the new studio sound.

Great concept, execution needs work

I really like the idea of this show and I keep coming back hoping that I’ll like it. I like the people they interview and clearly these guys are knowledgeable and enthusiastic street photographers But I’ve never actually managed to listen all the way through before getting frustrated and changing to another podcast. They waste so much time talking about unnecessary things, especially in the intro. I think once it took them 12-13 minutes before they actually got to the actual subject. You’re not the subject or that entertaining. As interviewers I’m not sure they listen to the people they’re talking to. They seem to be thinking more about their next joke or laughing at their last joke than actually hearing the people they are talking to. I appreciate that they’re doing this program. As a photographer I do get benefit from it and I’d like to say thank you to them for the effort they put into it. But, please take it more seriously.

Insightful discussion

Casper hails from somewhere in the south and his accent triggers an almost instinctive prejudice that I have about intelligence. However, Casper and his cohost along with their guests both continue to impress me with the depth of insight into the artistic process and contemporary issues at the interface of art, culture and society.
