Great Pod

I really enjoy the podcast. Heavey presents evidenced-based fitness concepts in a very digestible and informative manner, and Grant asks great questions to get the most out of topics. The back and forth conversation format keeps episodes entertaining without feeling like a lecture. Would also recommend signing up for Heavey’s emails for some solid extra content outside of the weekly episodes.

PS: Still don’t like scotch, but I can now definitely hold a conversation on it.

A review

Pretty good. Find myself listening to episodes more frequently now that there’s a few minutes on the back end explaining types/brands of scotch. The latest episode about working out while in college really doesn’t apply to me, but the rundown of macallan 12 was worth the listen.

Been listening since college and still listen after just graduating. As a self described nerd, it’s refreshing to hear Grant and Heavy’s evidenced based approach to health and fitness. Helps cut through the B.S. you get at the gym now and then. Also has helped me expand my whisky palate.
