Have you ever wondered what goes into Netflix' category algorithms? Does it simply take a woman in glasses, a pant suit, and an achievable uphill battle to make it to their list of female empowerment movies? Join Comedian Tessa Davidson and Writer Tricia Donelan as they discuss the the Strong Female Leads of their favorite Movies and TV Shows. Friendships are tested, stereotypes are explored, and female badassery is applauded.
S2 E16: Booksmart
So, I guess that it. 2019's Booksmart just might be perfect so there's nothing left to say....
JUST KIDDING! Tessa & Tricia have A LOT to say about this movie that proves Diversty & Inclusion along with great writing and directing DOES exist in Hollywood
S2 E15: Now & Then
Tricia and Tessa go back to 1995 with a CLASSIC coming of age film Now & Then. The film follows four lifelong friends through an unforgettable summer in the 1970s and stars Christina Ricci, Gaby Hoffmann, Thora Birch, Ashleigh Aston Moore. Just a warning, this movie is NOTHING like Speed, also available on VHS in 1995.
S2 E14: Pen15
On this week's episode, Tessa and Tricia discuss Season 1 of Pen15, the seriously nostalgic, coming-of-age comedy created by and starring SFLs Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine. They chat about discovering porn, vandalizing BOP magazines, childhood racism, and more! Oh, and Tessa learns for the first time what Pen15 actually means.

S2 E13: Ma
Craving a horror flick with a crazy plot twist that you NEVER saw coming? "Ma" is the exact opposite of that.
But recapping it was fun as hell.
Join Tessa and Tricia as they chat about basement drinking, toxic femininity, Fabergé eggs, murder photos and more! Also, Tessa isn't sold that Octavia Spencer (Ma) actually works at the clinic and Tricia regrets forcing her mother to watch this s&!t show.
S2 E12: Midsommar
The church of Latter Day SFL's would like to invite you to a viewing of 2019's Midsommar as just a sampling of what we're able to provide in our Pyra.. Inverted Triangle small business programs.
Peace be with you.
S2 E11: Ready or Not
It's Spooky Season, and Tessa and Tricia are here with their first HORROR movie, 2019's Ready or Not. Grace maybe in over her head during a game of hide and seek with her killer in-laws BUT in the end it's all worth it to get the guy... right?

Extremely bias review! 😘🍷🔪
I have had the honor of being a guest on this podcast. Not only was I lucky enough to hang out with my girl Trisha, I also met my triplet Tessa. These strong female podcast hosts bring expert movie/TV knowledge and seamlessly interweave their personal experiences to create something special. Very enjoyable podcast. Shout out to Hilary for making everyone sound sooo good and keeping it real. XOXO!
Church of Latter Day SFL's!!!
The first thing that comes to mind for review, was how swimmingly there was delicious banter and no discussion chat about Black Mirror's San Junipero by 20 minutes in. Twenty oh five, and we're back on track. Woot! Enjoying the first portion of talk, then, having not seen the San Junipero episode, I thought I'd take in all the spoilers and discussion anyways(then I did watch it, right afterward; yippy!) I'm so glad, with Hillary's help, we all decided that undeniably the jury is hung on whether the girlfriend really passed-over or if everything is just possible so yep. Who said they might choose to go to the ?? Prehistoric era San Junipero, that's nifty, teehee. And maybe Tessa's pick was the ninteen teens era. And on that note, please be reading this review with a nineteen teens 'cats in jammers' accent if possible, much obliged. Now, thanks for the episode recommendation afterall, very wonderful heads up indeed. So, I wanted to suggest one and a half flicks for you all to view: Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead(1991), cuz well SFL alert, but also cuz it's 1991 and it's the earliest of nineties; so early it's the actually the leftover eighties, which Tricia should relish. But so late in the super late eighties so as not to discourage Tessa from being intrigued. Lastly, a half idea, is A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night(2014), vampire(I know, I know) dark comedy. Lol, anywho. Arrivaderci... -Armmie Ronaldo :)
For all those times when you watched a movie or tv show alone and wanted to discuss it with a friend. Bonus: you can tell when someone is born by their pop culture knowledge. And the differences between the two crack me up!
