A very genuine podcast
I can’t recommend this podcast enough for people who want a fun companion as you read some of the best fantasy and sci-fi novels. So often, these podcasts are made by people who have read the series several times. It’s refreshing to be “reading along” with someone who is discovering things just as you are. Keep it up!

Hard to listen to for extended periods.
Normally, I listen to podcasts at 1.5+ speed, but it is difficult to get through these episodes. The host does this nervous-laugh what feels like every minute (or less), and nothing is funny. I always forget why I stopped listening to this show, until I take another listen, “oh yea, I remember now.” I can only equate it to a female version of a Beavis and Butthead laugh; it’s constant throughout every episode, and the greater the listening speed, the worse it is. I find myself waiting for the next simmered chuckle, as opposed to listening to the content itself. It’s disappointing because I am at the same spot of my first read through as this show.
