Several studies have shown geography plays a role in where a student goes to college. The Chronicle of Higher Education’s interactive view of freshmen enrollment trends in the U.S. shows most students stay in state or attend a university near their home state. That’s certainly the case at MU. The largest percentage of the 2018/2019 freshmen class came from Illinois. But what about those students who travel across several state lines to attend a college?
