When parents have wrong expectations.
When a parent's request interferes with the care of your own family.
When a parent's request goes against personal convictions.
When a parent's request conflicts with the mission and/or vision of the church.
Things to Keep In Mind When Saying No to a Parent:
Be respectful.
Show love.
Communicate well.
Don't assume the worst outcome of the conversation.
Trust the Holy Spirit as you walk through the conversation.
