Stuff Mom Never Told You

I love how many of the episodes showcase an entirely different perspective and life experiences than my own. I absolutely recommend the show.

Why do they force themselves to try and be funny? Get to the content.

No issues with the podcast content, I think Anney and Samantha are great but the amount of advertising to actual podcast is abominable. This is a problem with all iheart podcasts but, for some reason, even more egregious on Stuff Mom Never Told You. Please iheart execs let Anney and Samantha speak and tone down the advertisements!

I like this podcast, which is conversational in tone but offers some deep dives into the gender dynamics of myriad topics (technology, social situations, media, etc). I think there’s a little bit of fluff sometimes, but it also makes it feel like less like a lecture and more like a dialogue. [edited a year later to add. . .] After a year of listening though, so tired of the ads. I get they need to make money but the ad content doesn’t always align with their purported values and the same ads play over and over again and take up like 1/4 of the airtime. While some fluff is fine, I also would like more depth and nuance with certain topics.
