Mostly good

Some of the topics are not super interesting, and there tend to be more commercials than I like. But, I just skip the topics that don’t suit me and I get that people need to get paid. Could be better, but I really dig this pod.

So close to a 5 star podcast

Can we please just have one podcast that doesn’t have strong political opinions and singular viewpoints?

If you’re in the mood for some cool, fun, conspiracy-related conversations go and listen up to maybe 2019. After that it really turned into a mix of politics and conspiracy. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve agreed with a lot and disagreed with a lot of what has been said; but at the end of the day I want to relax, laugh and have a podcast pique my curiosity. Ben and Noel really only come at topics from one perspective anymore and it makes the show kind of flat and boring... Matt is the real MVP (most valuable podcaster) of the show.

Matt, Noel and Ben. It’s your podcast, I get it, it’s going to have your opinions. That’s cool and makes it interesting. But lately your opinions are coming off more like facts and it really distracts from the topic. Noel overreacts from the “victim” standpoint almost every episode and I’m not even joking, 1/2 the time Matt (sometimes Ben) has to wrangle him in, then state a general viewpoint that’s not victimized and Noel chills out. It’s so annoying and unnecessary. Think for an extra 2 seconds Noel, play devils advocate, maybe you’ll realize the world isn’t as bad as you like to think it is. You’re so hypersensitive to everything it’s as if you can’t handle something that you don’t agree with in a rational manner. Only anger, disgust and ignorance.

Ben is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly has life experience to back up many of his claims. But sometimes comes off as a know-it-all or thinks his opinions are gospel and doesn’t look into topics as curiously as he used to. I don’t know how many times he’s said “you’re woefully naive if you believe _______”. And half the time I’d agree but the other half I’m just thinking “where the heck is he forming this opinion from!? Go back to being curious!!!! It made the podcast so much more interesting!

Matt, he’s the real reason I keep listening to the show. He’s always curious, brings up several good questions, thinks things through from multiple perspectives and doesn’t act like he knows everything. Rather, he acts like he wants to learn everything.

I really miss the older podcasts. Mainly with just Ben and Matt. They were such a cool duo, kept ideas flowing, were more spontaneous and much more curious. They didn’t act like they knew everything or like their opinions were right. They just dove into a topic, questioned the heck out of it, brought in life experience when they could and just made it a fun listen.

Meh

Has gotten more boring over the years and way more ads pop up too, I would recommend stuff you should know or stuff to blow your mind these guys are awkward and it’s like a sjw is standing behind them with a gun in case they say anything slightly insensitive
