Stuff You Should Know

Who knew?? I found these podcasts to be very interesting and informative. It's refreshing to know that there are people out there who care enough to inform us of interesting facts that fuel our brains rather than the typical trash that floods us daily. Does anybody really care which celebrity went into rehab this week? This makes for much more interesting conversation around the "water cooler". Not to mention that it makes you sound smart :) Keep up the good work!

One of my favorite podcasts!

I used to love this show. But there was an episode (it might have been a 4/29/17 one) where they were talking about Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings. It was so tone deaf that I had to take a step away from the show for years. There was no talk about how Jefferson clearly groomed Sally as a child, a child he owned. There was no talk about consent or r*pe. When you have a “romance” with a CHILD who you OWN and then you enslave the children you have together? I was just suddenly overwhelmed by the fact that these are two white men who have a narrow view of the world and maybe I should listen to other podcasting voices.

I’ve been listening for years, such a wonderful show. They are able to make boring topics interesting and I’m constantly learning new things. You guys are the best 💕
