Work, workforce, and workplace norms are shaped as much by our perceptions as they are by popularized portrayals. From sensational headlines like “The Great Resignation” to successful series like “The Office” and “Silicon Valley” to social media mavens like the TikTok career coach, what we see shapes what we believe.
In this three part podcast series, we’ll go behind the scenes to discover what’s new, now and next in the world of work. And we’ll challenge the traditions of what it means to live well and to work well.

Great Interviewer and Great Guests
Karen is a great interviewer. She asks great questions and gets the guests to go deeper on certain topics that other hosts would probably just move on from after their got their soundbite. She has done her research on these folks. I love the guests that she has had so far and I saw a list of some of the ones coming up on social. Very excited about Kate’s episode and that season two will focus on how companies are moving away from 9-to-5.
Enjoyed this episode. The point of how traveling and experiencing other cultures cultivates adaptability and appreciation, and that in turn, can benefit you greatly in your career and as an entrepreneur, really resonated with me.
Additionally, gardening experiences for companies, as a way to help employees achieve mindfulness and gratitude, is a phenomenal idea, and one I aim to implement in my company.
I’m excited to hear more from this podcast!
