Customer Reviews
Hampered by Prejudices
I enjoyed listening to it at first and thought it was quite entertaining how critical they were of the show at times. It's refreshing.
However, it became less enjoyable when their prejudices started clouding their analysis. They seem to not enjoy the show much when it's not highly centered on their favorite female characters.
One minute, they joke about how stupid men are for ice fishing and then they spend the next 5 minutes gushing about Margot's fabulous clothes or Dr. Bloom's hair.
That pretty much sums up this podcast and what the hosts look for in this particular show.
Strange format, spazzy hosts
You know that person who you talk to and laughs really hard at their own, bad jokes? The two hosts of the show fall into that category. The insights they bring to the table are overshadowed by this irritating quality.
In addition, they seem to pull apart every hole in the show. In a show about a cannibal posing as a psychiatrist and assisting the FBI in tracking down other serial killers, it seems that occasionally suspending disbelief is necessary.
I’m also somewhat new to fan podcasts, but it seems strange that they walk minute-by-minute through the episode. Is that so you don’t have to watch the episode?
Awesome Pod
So glad I found this series, and such an intelligent podcast to analyze it! Love it!
