    • Football

We have a new NFL champion, even if the Super MVP is a familiar face. But despite the biggest sporting event in the country taking place on Sunday night, our very own Patrick Peterson's name was able to sneak into the news on Monday morning. So, we open the show by addressing rumors that Pat and the Cardinals are preparing for a split after 10 seasons (1:10). Then, P2 and Bryant McFadden shift back to the Bucs 31-9 victory over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV (5:00) Immense credit is due for former a lot of former Arizona coaches that are now with Tampa Bay. Pat once again shares his feelings towards Bruce Arians and speaks about the diverse staff he has put together. Todd Bowles has deservedly gotten a lot of praise as well for how his scheme was able to limit the Chiefs high-octane offense and the best player in the game, Patrick Mahomes. The guys think Tom Brady could now be the greatest team-sport athlete of all time in addition to already being the football GOAT. We cover some officiating blunders and some scraps involving defensive backs including Antoine Winfield vs. Tyreek Hill and Tyrann Mathieu vs. Brady. Now that the 2020 season is officially over, Pat shares what he'll remember most about this unprecedented year (28:00). 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame announcements were made over the weekend so Pat's legacy is examined on this episode (34:35) How much does he think about his Hall of Fame chances and does he think he'll one day get to Canton?
