The 80's and 90's were a strange, neon fever dream. Everything was juicy, stuffed with cheese and everyone skateboarded all. the. time. Did you roller blade? We did, too! Why did we do that?
Join us and our kids for an hour each week as we try to explain to them why our stuff is better than theirs and always will be: video games, snacks, television, movies...all of it.
And bring your kids along for the ride, too! You may even find yourself saying "back in my day" a lot.
...it's not so bad once you get used to it.
Did you know you can pretend to be senile and ride the bus for free?
Big episode this week...about as big as it gets. The Holy Bible - ever hear of it? We grabbed the boys and took an 8-bit trip through the old testament.
Gabe’s going to do his best to make sense of some of the Bible’s most famous stories; we’re doing listener favorite Real or Fake; Mike’s prepared a segment called “Ye or Yahweh” in which Gabe will have to guess if certain phrases were spoken in the Bible or by Kanye West...and of course, we’ll have a special guest Theologian you won’t want to miss.

Want to have cool conversations with your kids? Listen to this show!
Great show! I listen to it in the car with my kids. It’s been great to have actual conversations with them other than “How was your day?” “fine...”. I love asking my kids the questions the guys ask their kids. Great job Mike, Gabe and Todd! 🖖
Great show about both gaming and being a dad. Todd and Mike have great chemistry and it’s great to hear them banter. Throughly enjoyable, give it a listen.
If you like Nintendo, or games, or people, or...you know, laughter
This show is delightful on every level. It will amuse you, inform you, and give you a whole new outlook on (and a whole new reason to get back into) those timeless video games.
