Big Buck Robely ,

A most excellent journey through my childhood, teenage, and college years.

Due to my job, I travel a lot, and as a result, I listen to a lot of podcasts. A few become favorites, but only one has become an absolute must-listen every week: Surely You Can’t Be Serious. It is an absolute blast every week to listen to Jason and Dee explore all the best in ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s pop culture. Every episode is full of fun facts and obscure trivia that enrich the overall experience. The hosts themselves are obviously friends, and the show has such an easy, conversational tone that it’s easy to imagine yourself sitting at the local watering hole with them, debating the best Toto song. If podcasts were mountain ranges, SYCBS would be a Mt. Everest, with a few others reaching the heights of a Kilimanjaro and the rest left standing glumly on the Serengeti plains, hoping they themselves will one day reach those heights. Here’s to many more years of this fantastic podcast!

This is right in my wheelhouse- I love the track by track album discussions. Looking forward to more.

Rhymes with Snoozin’ ,

Great listen

This is some much needed high quality Gen X content from my peers. But how dare you make me tear up at that Anne Murray song? No seriously I really loved the 1978 songs episode. Keep up the good work.
