Customer Reviews
Dry and deadpan (but like in a good way)
The content of this podcast is informative and interesting, but I see a lot of these reviews from individuals who hate ACC’s monotone, droning voice… but honestly this is what makes this podcast so great. Deadpan delivery. Super dry style of humor. Little quips sprinkled in. Cynicism, sarcasm, etc etc etc. And sure, do I listen to this podcast to fall asleep sometimes? Yes. His voice is calming and the audio qualities of the podcast itself make it great to drift asleep to… but also great to stay awake for.
Rerun listeners
After being a long time listener, It appears that those of us who don’t pay for a subscription no longer get any new episodes. We get the reruns.
I can’t really afford to pay a subscription for every podcast that I want to listen to. what used to be free ( and by donations ) in the early days of the podcast world is slowly disappearing.. I guess that’s it for me then. Why even bother hanging around?
Great storytelling
The host does a excellent job telling these stories, and his cynical sense of humor is amazing. I can’t get enough.
