Sword of Symphonies

This show has everything you are looking for in a story: humor, companionship, adventure, intrigue, and worldbuilding. I enjoyed how each character works to create a bit of the world alongside the GM rather than just the GM dictating what the world is. I especially enjoyed the episode where the players are telling stories around a campfire and make up legends about their world, with little interruption from the GM. You can also tell, as the story goes on, that the players are really friends outside of the game. There is a sense of companionship and trust that is conveyed through the stories being told. Everyone brings their best effort to the story being told and the listener is all the better for it. 10/10 would recommend!

A lovely show with a great, low-key vibe and using a custom system, very different feel from any D&D actual play. More holistic and environmental feeling. The players also give it their all, nothing quite like it I’ve found, and I looked!

This is an excellent show highlighting a wonderful game. Heroic Chord has such a warm and fuzzy feeling to it, and the cast has such a wholesome energy. The narration is always so evocative, and the music never fails to impress. The Cat’s Cradle episodes are just as good, full of great insight. Can’t wait for Season 2!
