Storytelling adventures!
Such fun is had by the cast in telling stories! Each one of them has a unique personality that shines through their characters. The GM Jonathan paints epic landscapes, encourages diverse role play with some intriguing Npcs and the dice aid or fail in interesting ways.
There is something for everyone with this podcast! Different seasons make it so you get a great variety of sojourners. Plus it is family friendly for your ears! No swearing or out of place horror. Sometimes the situations get dark but there is always light even in the darkest of places.
Give it a listen, you won’t regret it!
Epic stories!
I started listening to Sojourner’s Awake because I was looking for a clean d&d campaign to enjoy while I worked.
I was immediately blown away by the storytelling skills of not only the DM, but the players as well. Jonathan runs d&d a little differently, but in my opinion his approach is a breath of fresh air. No more getting bogged down by mechanics and rules.
These games are focused on storytelling and character development. The editing and added ambiance make you feel like you’re right there adventuring with the characters. This is a great listen if you enjoy fantasy audio dramas!
