Originally from the Southeastern Michigan, she cooked professionally and taught cooking in New York City and the tri-state area for fifteen years before relocating to the Hudson Valley to open a pizzeria restaurant with her husband, where they built a dedicated following for their traditional, homestyle cuisine.
