Overcoming the 'No Point in Stopping Now' Excuse

Overcoming the 'No Point in Stopping Now' Excuse

In this episode, we cover a scenario that may be familiar. You start drinking and then convince yourself to continue because "Why stop now?" This mindset isn't just about alcohol; it can also happen with food and spending. Many of us develop a habit of letting things like an empty glass or a finished package override our feelings of fullness.
Listen to understand why we make this excuse and how to stop, even after you've begun. Learning to stop is a key step in teaching your brain to manage cravings. Understand why accepting that mistakes are part of the journey and not a sign of failure.

Labels

Just listened to the podcast regarding labels and it very much resonated with me. Important perspective on alcohol stigmas AND very refreshing to expand my thinking that I do not have to accept any label at all. We are not a one-size fits all society. I now want to listen to more of her podcasts.

Special Occasion Drinking

I’ve been l listening to this podcast for a while now, this is my first review. I gain insight into my relationship with alcohol in every episode I listen to. This particular one is short and sweet and only has me ask myself and answer one question on these occasions. Brilliant! Listen for yourself to hear straight from Rachel. She says it best.
