In this interview Diana Babish, who was nominated for a Game Changer award by Clara B., founded the Animal Environment Association (AEA) in Bethlehem Palestine in 2016, the only animal shelter in the West Bank. AEA-Bethlehem provides a safe environment for thousands of dogs and cats and works with local authorities to prevent the poisoning and shooting of dogs as a brutal form of animal control.

From the time she was just 11 years old, Cheryl Salvati was rescuing animals, but it wasn’t until 2012 that she devoted her life to rescuing dogs full-time. After volunteering at animal rescue organizations for decades, Salvati received an opportunity to own and manage her own rescue organization.
