Systemic racism takes systematic change. Systemic change takes generations. Using your platform to belittle the players for trying to make a statement and trying to impact change is so disrespectful. There isn’t a playbook for how to get the police to stop killing Black people and to get the country to start acting like Black Lives actually matter. To say that the Bucks choosing not to play and the league openly supporting Black Lives Matter has had no impact and that you don’t see the purpose came of as ignorant and uninformed. Please share these thoughts with the NBA players and coat he’s you cover and see how they feel about you minimizing their efforts. You should reach out to Bill Russel to have a counter argument. He can tell you about the game he walked out on and how proud he is of the players for what they did yesterday. I’m just so disappointed in all three of you.
