We Love Take 3

Where do we even start with the boys? Nick and Jordan surprise us every episode with just how deep into these movies they can get. As they say in their intro, their episodes are broken into three parts: thoughts before the watch, thoughts immediately after, and finally an in-depth, research-centered discussion of the film.

What’s so special about this podcast is how each section provides something unique to their personalities. In the first take, we get to hear their silly side and enjoy a glimpse of what’s currently going on in their lives; in the second take, we get to know their personal tastes in regards to the movie being discussed (and other movies, as well); and in the third take, we see how dedicated to the art of film they really are. Both of these men are incredibly intelligent— not just regarding film, but when it comes to concepts of life in general. They really understand what it means to make movies and tell stories, and how magnificent life can be when seen through the art of film.

Close you eyes and pick any episode— or scroll until you see a familiar favorite (they’re bound to have covered something you love). You will not be disappointed! Huge recommendation for Take Three! ^.^
