Stop talking over each other
Stop it
Lack of care. No weekly updates. Inconsistent.
This used to be a great podcast but I’m in agreement with the recent criticism. Lack of thoughtful takes and no effort seems to be given. Podcast has definitely been pushed to the backseat by the “hosts”
Quality has really gone down
This used to be a great and consistent podcast. When Dan Duggan, Jordan Raanan and Matt Lombardo and colleagues were hosting with their respective runs on the show I could expect weekly output with insightful discussions during regular season games and coverage of off-season developments.
Darryl Slater and Zach Rosenblatt seem like ok guys but they and Nj.com don’t seem to be focused on providing quality content for their podcast anymore. This weeks episode and a couple from the past contained audio issues with the sound files misaligned so the hosts were talking over each other nonsensically, then allowing for ten seconds at a fine of dead air.
They neglect to cover the off-season now, only providing two minute “bonus episodes” even for huge events like the draft and free agency.
I’ve tried to keep up as a listener out of loyalty for the golden days of the show but I’m moving on. Hopefully they can recommit themselves in the future otherwise why put out a podcast at all?
