Talking about underground psychedelic treatment and plant medicine with Tanis Rose‪!‬ Hard Knox Talks: Your Addiction Podcast

    • Mental Health

“Ibogaine is a powerful psychoactive substance, it can stop your heart. I was dying anyway, so I said my goodbyes, and I went into the treatment.”
Tanis is a member of the Canadian Association of People who Use Drugs.
“These substances are illegal, so treatment is underground. I had nurses and other practitioners available for safety and support through my whole experience.”
She is also working closely with organizations that fund drug user groups and peer support networks in British Columbia.
“The turning point for me was when I realized that even though I had relapsed, the spiritual experience of my Iboga journey had a profound effect on my authentic self. I couldn’t lie anymore; it was physically painful to hide my use or lie about it to loved ones. Ibogaine treatment gave me that.”
Tune in this week and listen to Tanis #takeofftheblinders around psychedelic plant medicines as treatment for trauma and addiction.
We’ll talk about everything from Kadien to Ibogaine, to safe supply, to trippin’ balls on frog juice.
Can illicit hallucinogens actually save your life?
We’re going to talk about that in our next episode right here, on Hard Knox Talks.
Buckle up!!
