Tara, From Incarceration to becoming an Inspiration Journey of a Fearless Female Podcast

    • Personal Journals

Tara was 13 years old when she got involved with the gangs of Santa Ana. Growing up she felt lost and joining a gang felt like entering into a new family.  In the gang culture, Tara felt like she was a part of a community. However, armed robbery, drug addiction, and prostitution became her daily way of life. On Thanksgiving day, when she was expected home for the holiday, she wrote a letter to her dad and decided it was time to change.
