    26. Elevating Your Curriculum with Vix Meldrew

We’ve discussed it before on the podcast - so many people think that sales are down, but what I think is really happening is that what you’re selling just isn’t quite right. If your offer is too overwhelming, too wishy-washy and open-ended or just not what people are looking for, they aren’t going to buy! That’s why it’s so important to refine your modules, define an actionable result for your client and stop packing your programs and courses with damn Q&A calls - I said it. 🫢 I love bringing experts onto the podcast who are going to spill the tea and give you takeaways you never knew you needed, and today’s expert is a curriculum specialist, who uses her past expertise to help you design a program that is literally going to have your audience screaming “I need this!”. Today we have the wonderful Vix Meldrew on the podcast! Vix is an ex-primary school teacher, turned online educator and coach for coaches and experts. In 2018, Vix left teaching to be a full-time content creator with her successful blog and Instagram which saw her featured in news, radio and documentaries - even listed in MTV’s Influencers to Watch. She partnered with brands such as Microsoft, Squarespace, Pinterest and more. In 2019, she launched her membership, Grow & Glow, gaining over 100 founding members in under an hour. During the pandemic, the membership helped over 1200 small business owners take charge of their social media and gain new clients and customers. Since pivoting her business in 2022 and sharing her experience of teaching over 7000 students online (and her 6 years in the classroom), Vix has worked with over 300 course creators and coaches to design and launch their programs. So, let’s get ready to ditch those Q&As for good, stop hand-holding your clients and receive alllll the testimonials that are actually worth sharing. In this episode, we’re chatting about: The main gaps between your program currently and your dream, easy-to-sell, easy-to-run program Why stuffing your program full of extras and being over-generous is a bad idea The fact that Q&A calls are BORING How to get amazing testimonials from your clients that are so much more detailed than “you’re fab” Episode Breakdown [01:13] Vix’s backstory and journey from teacher to curriculum expert [04:53] Stop making the destination harder to get to [13:19] Defining a measurable result of your program [21:33] You want your curriculum to replace you [26:59] Should I add in hot seat coaching or Q&A calls for added value? 💸 [32:43] The future of the online industry and education as a whole [35:49] Serving up fresh takes for 2024 [37:52] Getting immersed in Vix’s world Resources & Links In My World LIVE OFFERINGS Apply for the Sales Expert Minimind Apply for the 6F7F Mastermind Join the No Figures to Six Figures Signature 8 Week Group Program waitlist LOW TICKET & FREE Purchase the replay for The Social Experiment - 2 Hour Live Event Sign up for The CEO Atelier: Our FREE vault of over 20 lessons, downloads & guest speakers LET’S CONNECT FURTHER Join me on Instagram: DM me “Close Friends” to be added to the list See everything else at my website, natashazoryk.com TODAY’S GUEST: VIX MELDREW Follow Vix on Instagram Book an Intensive with Vix Join the waitlist for Vix’s new group program, starting February 2024 YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE Episode 20. 24. How to Properly and Ethically Share Money Wins

Sharing money wins - you either love them or hate them! Some people find them super tacky and icky, but I find when they’re shared with integrity, passion and strategy, it helps to build your credibility and authority, attracts the driver buyer and helps to redefine others’ money mindsets. In today’s episode, I’m going DEEP into why sharing money wins in your business is a hill I will die on - as long as it’s done in an ethical way! To help you do this, I’m sharing my favorite technique (which can also be used to break up with your boo, if you’re ready for that 🫠) and giving you all the inspo as to why this should become an integral part of your business and something you love sharing with your audience, not something that grosses you out. In this episode, I’m spilling the tea on: Why there’s a right way and a wrong way to share your money wins How sharing your money wins can build your authority Why sharing your wins is a hill I will DIE on 💀 How to overcome the resistance you might feel to sharing your monetary success The correct way to share your numbers 💸 Episode Breakdown [00:50] Is it icky to share money wins? If you’re currently going through a situation with an unhappy client, the first thing you should know is that you’re not alone! Literally every business owner has experienced it at some point (and if they haven’t yet, they will!). It’s honestly just part of doing business, girly pop. Ultimately, my hope is that this episode helps you not only to feel better about the situation, but to navigate it better AND prep yourself for any future client conflicts that might come up. Another idea is that you can flip the narrative and view it as a blessing that has prompted you to audit your business and see how you can do better!
