Hattie and Sarah, two big-time Taylor Swift fans, welcome you into their world of looking for queerness in Taylor Swift's art and career.
Episode 14 - folklore
In this episode, Hattie and Sarah reunited for a live broadcast discussing all things TS8. My god, what a shock to the system! We hoped for some Safe & Sound Realness and now we all know, that's kinda what we got! Listen to our predictions here and laugh at the stuff we didn't quite get right.
There Will Be No Explanation
In this season finale, Sarah and Hattie close up the rep era and "step into the Daylight and let it go." It's the Lover era, y'all! And they're excited to dive into that next!
Lover (song) Reaction!
In this bonus episode, Hattie and Sarah listen to Lover (the song, no the full album [yet]) and give their immediate reaction and analysis. They also fill you in on a little bit of what they've been up to!
Bonus - Going Rogue: Hattie - Wait, What Are Masters?
...and who the heck is Scooter? Hattie unfurls the Big Machine/master tracks/too-many-Scotts situation, and examines what it might mean for the Lover era onward.
Going Rogue: Sarah - PRIDE!
*AIRHORN NOISE* IT'S PRIDE, EVERYONE! Sarah catches up on the whirlwind month we've had from Taylor and she takes a second to consider our role as consumers in the corporatization of Pride. Wow.
Bonus - Going Rogue: Hattie - These. Sick. Beats.
Hattie (and Dottie) help you find the right Taylor Swift song for YOUR karaoke needs! Exactly one, one song with a skit makes the list.
Wonderful podcast with two witty and lovely hosts!
Highly recommend giving this podcast a listen, whether you believe in Kaylor, Gaylor or none of those theories. Both of the hosts provide an incredibly interesting lens on Taylor Swifts music, personal life, and pop culture. It illuminates queer culture in a way many heterosexual people may have never known existed (eg: paper rings!!!). I absolutely love this podcast and hope they come back for another season🤞
This Podcast Made me Taylor Swift fan!
Love it and love the short episodes!
High quality, thoughtful and insightful
Love these gals so much and their analysis of Tay culture and queer theory is on point. I love their dynamic and I love how they use audio clips and other mixed media as talking points. Well done in every level, and funny too!
