What began as a character in a series of commercials for NBC Sports in 2013, has become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed series of our time. Ted Lasso has captured the imagination of viewers around the world, with its humor and heart, and though the Lasso universe may be revisited at some point, the original series will never be forgotten. This is our review, and our tribute, to Ted Lasso.

Two Nations Under Ted: A Ted Lasso Podcast, brings together three hosts from two different parts of the world. From the U.S. is Tom Clark of Tom Clark's Main Event and Tom Clark's 6M Podcast, and from the U.K. is Jay Luft of The Untitled Wrestling Podcast, and Joe Higgens from Hallmark of Greatness and Dammit Vacant.

This is Season 3, Episode 11 of Ted Lasso, entitled "Mom City," written by Brendan Hunt & Jason Sudeikis, with teleplay by Joe Kelly, and directed by Declean Lowney. In this episode, Ted gets a surprise visit from his mom, just days before the team faces Man City in a game that will clinch the title for the Greyhounds. Jamie struggles to keep himself together on the eve of his first game back in Manchester, and Roy and Keeley step in to help. The team asks Nate to come back, leading to a face-to-face with Beard, and Ted finally confronts his mom about her not dealing with the loss of his father. Tom, Jay, and Joe, dissect this episode scene by scene, and it's the perfect companion to the show itself!
