They pick up on the conversation from two episodes ago and notice that these two works ascribe VERY different value judgments to the phenomenon of human/fish-man coupling.

Amos has been learning about modern European history and he's noticed that the liberals seem to also be nationalists. He wants to understand the connection between these two ideologies, and Sophie is just the person to explain it.

Great podcast focused on telling people why they're wrong!
Super engaging, and listenable. Great back and forth, and chemistry between Amos and Sophie. Altogether a great podcast. You should subscribe to it!
Engaging
I find myself having to pause the conversation to interject (even though Amos & Sophie can't hear me). This is the mark of a great podcast.
Interesting topics, intellectual dialogue with levity
I know Amos so maybe I'm a little bias, but I like this podcast quite a lot. Sophie and Amos are a good pairing. I like the dynamic between them and I am interested in the topics they cover. I find myself wanting to interject when One is talking and then the other says what I'm thinking. That's satisfying. Subjective 5 stars. Objectively, I give it 4 since I think you have to know the host(s) to catch some of the less obvious humor
