88 episodes

You know how every day someone asks "how are you?" And even if you’re totally dying inside, you just say "fine," so everyone can go about their day? This show is the opposite of that. Hosted by author and notable widow (her words) Nora McInerny, this is a funny/sad/uncomfortable podcast about talking honestly about our pain, our awkwardness, and our humanness, which is not an actual word. From American Public Media.

Amazing and awe inspiring!

I love to listen this podcast on good days and bad days alike. It provides a unique insight into the humanity of us all. Nora does an amazing job at tackling the most difficult subjects with honor and grace. I don’t know how she does it, but I’ll cry and laugh in the same episode. It has sparked amazing conversations between my friends and family around difficult topics like death, anger, and forgiveness. I honestly feel like I have more space for the people around me than I did before because of this very podcast. A must listen.

Perfect Timing

Wow Nora, I’ve been listening for awhile, but since losing my husband last year, I definitely relate in a new way to the stories you tell. I’m two days away from the anniversary of Randy’s death, and your TedTalk just took my breath away. Thank You!

Humanity 101

Wow..what an art Nora has! She is an amazing host, moderator, storyteller. Her ability to fashion compelling stories out of our of everyday life’s zingers...never ceases to amaze me. My mind has opened and broadened since i started listening to this Podcast. I’m a new listener over the last several months. She and her team are so talented. I’m already missing her while they are on hiatus...but now I can binge from the beginning and get caught up.
