The emotional roller coaster continues to rise and fall as we have another very dramatic week in Pokémomn GO. The Silph Road has announced that it will be going dark on August 1st and the entire Community is gutted. We commiserate on how its a shame that it takes something like this to bring the Community together, but here we are. Unfortunately, some are using this as ammunition to attack Niantic.
 
We did have a pretty busy news week with the Valorous Hero event, and a weekend of Regidrago Raids and GO Battle League. While it would keep Trainers busy, we aren’t exactly sure it is what they wish they were doing. 
 
In other news we discuss the Global Wayfarer Reviewer Challenge taking place in Spain and how some QoL updates in Wayfarer will make this easier than ever to participate in. 
 
Finally, Ken briefly shares his experience during his trip to Niantic this week to test out a new game feature. With the state of the current core Community, hopefully Niantic has some serious tricks up their sleeve in order to make the Community happy again.
