    Rome was Built with Rome

    Rome was Built with Rome

A little European inspiration for you in todays episode:

I was lucky enough to spend 3 weeks in Europe and fell in love with Rome. The culture and the architecture were stunning, buildings that were just made with other buildings. Or even buildings from ancient rome and then someone built a new building on top of it. Romans were great at reduce, reuse recycle. Rome was Built with Rome.

When you were born, you were given gifts, and a foundation for who you are.
Like the marble columns that hold up the colosseum walls, your gifts are the marble of your life. Your uniqueness is the ornate drawings that paint your soul. The beauty to who you are and what makes you…you.

Let's talk more about the magic inside and how the foundation of who you are is exactly what you need to become the dream version of yourself.

Ep. 9 - Setting Boundaries with Alignment Coach Alexandra Jones

Today is an exciting episode! It's the first interview ever for That Mental Shit.

My guest, Alexandra Jones, is an Alignment Coach and CEO of The Empowered Collective. She's also one of my best friends and inspires me daily on her mental health journey. I'm so excited to sit down and talk with her today to discuss: Boundaries. This is more like a conversation than an interview, and she will go in depth on the concept of boundaries, how to set them for others but most importantly how to set them with yourself.

Ep. 7 - The Advantage of Disadvantage

Ep. 7 - The Advantage of Disadvantage

Ep. 7 - The Advantage of Disadvantage

Today’s episode isn’t gonna be just motivation, I really wanna talk about some things I’m learning and a new idea I really think people need to talk and dive more into. And it really goes with what you guys hear me say alot, that there is no excuses for excuses. Like really, I don’t give a shit, there is always a way. So this topic of Mental and Physical Disadvantages and Advantages has become one of my favorites to dive into lately. And I think what makes it so ingtreguing to me is that disadvantages and advantages, are literally just perceptions. Your situation can be whatever you want it to be if you reframe it in your mind. So yes this episode might motivate you but I really would rather challenge your thinking. I really want to help you reframe your mindset and your beliefs about yourself and your situation.  I literally find it so fascinating because I was told when I was diagnosed with Bipolar that it would be the biggest disadvantage of my life.

If you liked this episode, leave me a review! I'd love to hear from you!
