S3 E40: Frights, Delights & Hollywood Blights: Halloween Shenanigans & The Remake Riddle
With both guys back in the studio together and October being a bit of a crazy month - this week on THAT WOULD BE RAD, we play "catch up".
We didn't really get a chance to put a ribbon on Halloween or talk about the scary movies we loved (and hated) that we watched, how much candy our kids dumped out when they got home from trick or treating, and so...we do so here.
We dive into movies like the recently released "Cobweb", "No One Will Save You", and the results of Woody deciding to show his pre-teen son the John Carpenter classic "The Fog".
Did his son have a sleepless night, or is he now a fellow John Carpenter enthusiast? You'll have to listen to find out!
Listen as the conversation between 2 best friends leads you to Led Zeppelin and the hidden gems in album covers, the mysteries of biology (like the shape of Wombat...well...you'll find out), and the Frisson phenomenon.
This is an episode that will make you laugh, think, and wonder. Don't miss it!

S3 E39: You're A Good Man Charlie Brown
On this week's episode - our host Woody Brown steps in front of the mic to host a bit of a different episode than typical.
Having suffered a difficult loss in his family he wanted to take the time to talk about it, how he's been dealing with it, and what helped him.
Though this isn't a typical That Would Be Rad episode - we felt it important to...to be REAL, since ultimately GRIEF is something that all of us will encounter in our lives.
Woody talks about losing someone near and dear to his family, and what helped him thus far pull through. This is an episode about loss, grief, support, coping skills, and being inspired to step up for those that count on you when the time comes.
We hope you enjoy this mini-episode straight from the heart, and hopefully someone somewhere who needs to hear it...will hear it.
Thank you so much for listening.

Great podcast!
Hey guys, I just wanted to say how much I love your podcast! I discovered it a few months ago and really love what you are doing. Keep it up!🤙
It is RAD when you accuse Italy find your people…
You know that great feeling when you find a new (to you) podcast that you just absolutely dig right away and they already have to a of content for you to binge? That’s what happened to me when I found this absolute GEM of a podcast while searching for episodes on one of my favorite “creepy pasta-like” topics (in this case it was The Man from Taured.) If I’d known these two dudes back in the day I would’ve spent hours on my clear plastic phone with them talking about music, movies, creepy things we find fascinating, and more…when they started talking about how much they love Halloween and were thrilled the leaves were falling and it was raining out, and started sharing songs to include on my Halloween playlist, I found myself wishing I could text them and make sure they know about the music of Sea Wolf and tel them to check out DePalma’s “The Phantom of The Paradise” and the original “Suspiria” to their autumn watching lists. If you, like me, we’re one of those 80’s/90’s kids who was obsessed with making the PERFECT mixed tape/CD for people and had a strange love for all things macabre and knew you had way better taste than 80% of your peers this is the podcast for you!
Loved the show since the beginning
This show feeds my appetite for discovering strange stories, urban legends, and reminds me of hanging out with my brothers and buddies. I've loved this show since its beginnings and they're still going strong.
