The 8 Limbs of Yoga as given to us by Patanjali are a Yogi's guidelines to living life in alignment with our highest selves and to inch us closer to the Divine Oneness. 



In this episode, I break down these concepts and give modern-day advice on how to integrate these guidelines into your daily life. It isn't hard, but it will take dedicated awareness.



My favorite book on the Yoga Sutras is The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Swami Satchidananda Saraswati

This book gives wonderful translations of the Yoga Sutras and detailed instructions on how to pronounce the words in Sanskrit. The classic Sutras (threads of thought), at least 4,000 years old, cover the yogic teachings on ethics, meditation, and physical postures, and provide directions for dealing with situations in daily life. This valuable book provides a complete manual for the study and practice of Raja Yoga, the path of concentration, and meditation.
