Amazing

This is by far one of the best podcasts on the occult. The way John breaks down subjects is not only easy to understand, but is also entertaining. Phenomenal show!

A for effort

I stumbled on this pod cast searching king Solomon’s key. This guy does a good explanation of the gods. I wish the podcast weren’t in such a random order.

Potentially great, but lacks listenability

Content and subject matter is great and exactly what I was looking for. Host definitely has his charms: he’s funny, the kind of guy at a party you hang out with all night because he’s full of interesting things to talk about. Unfortunately, it’s all wasted by means of terrible production. I gave it a real effort, because I really wanted to like this podcast, but I simply could not bare to listen to it. It’s an absolute nightmare to my ears. His speech pattern and cadence is probably just fine in face to face interactions, but as it stands currently, it is not suited to this type of media. I’m not sure if he’s drunk (he is drinking) but his speech is slurred and he has great difficulty reading in a fluid manner, making any narration frustrating to hear. It’s inconsistent and coarse; there’s lots of vocal fry along with other unpleasant vocalizations. These elements are incredibly distracting from his otherwise good content, and it’s a total shame. While I like the casual tonality and comedic interjections, the podcast would benefit with a little more structure and refinement. I do not mean to insult the fellow, I sincerely offer this as constructive feedback. We each have our strengths and our weaknesses, and he certainly has strengths to draw upon. I think he’s got a great concept, he just needs to focus on squaring away the listening experience. To that end, he might consider developing his speech with regard to broadcasting and recording. It’s a learnable skill, and he has the type of personality to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, bringing in another individual with these skills to take the lead while he takes on a more supportive role, might beget favorable results.
