The Adam Nitti Podcast - Episode 01 - Tom Hemby The Adam Nitti Podcast

    • Music Interviews

Welcome to the Adam Nitti Podcast! In this debut episode of my new series, I interview the incredible Tom Hemby. A virtuosic guitarist, songwriter and producer, Tom settled into Nashville in 1978 to grow his career as a session player, touring musician, and solo artist. Born in Missouri, Hemby got his start touring with numerous artists including Amy Grant, the Imperials and many others. His resume includes an ever-expanding list of musicians that has included everyone from Vince Gill, Glen Campbell and Kenny Loggins to Bebe & CeCe Winans and Peter Cetera. He has also won four Dove Awards and a Grammy award for his production work. Tom has a brand new instrumental fusion project coming out in January 2022 that features Keith Carlock (drums), Michael Whittaker (keys), Mark Douthit (sax), and Adam Nitti (bass). In this interview we dive into the story behind this exciting new recording and get his perspectives on production, tone chasing, and much more! The Adam Nitti podcast depends on the support of listeners like you.
