Robert provides a brief overview of the brewery, a description of each style of the beer featured in the episode, followed by a tasting and review. This lighthearted and comedic show provides an authentic review of Canadian craft beer.

The After Mash: Unfiltered is a special episode where the focus is not on a brewery in particular, but rather features a special guest who joins Robert in a marathon of beers all while discussing a particular topic. This episode features The Crawdad, a beer lover with a special skill in beer pairings. The Crawdad reveals what goes in to planning a 10 course beer and meal pairing event. The two try to stay on topic as they discuss the recent beer tasting night, but increasing levels of intoxication cause the pair to stray off into different topics: their favourite bottle shop, milk, and Jeopardy!
