Thanks and good work! As a Georgia history nerd, the 1820 have been somewhat of a black hole. Backing up from the Georgia gold rush ( One of my primary areas of research)this podcast has helped i in large the Historiography Of and understudied decade in America.
Kudos for the entertainment value and the inspiration!

Wigs and whiskers

For many Americans the years between Yorktown and Ft. Sumpter may seem shrouded in a fog of wigs and whiskers. But D. Gullotta and his expert guests sweep away the mist. What ever happened to Aaron Burr? The French largely win the Battle of New Orleans? Slaves ship themselves North in crates to escape slavery (the underground Fedex)? Yes, this and much more!
