Rob Lane

Congrats on a wonderful interview with Rob Lane! He has a fascinating story. As a music graduate (ethnomusicology), it was awesome to hear how he “hears” the world around him. Now, if he will finish “Song From Home”...PERFECT!

Cringe Sweats

I love the content. The Interviews with the author and narrator were great. I enjoyed the yoga episode too. I did my best to continue with the inconsistency of this podcast, but I eventually had to unsubscribe due to Ginger's obsessive need to be right. She constantly interrupts to prove her point or correct others. She literally called out a guest that politely laughed at her joke for not completely understanding it's origins. Summer and Ginger often come across that they don't like each other either. It makes me uncomfortable in my own car.

So much potential, but they sound like they need to grow up

(Sigh) I hated leaving this review. I’m trying to listen to the read along of ADOW from 2015 but had to stop and unsubscribe. The sisters Summer and Ginger have potential but between the giggling, over disclosing about personal details, over use of slang such as “Bye Felicia” ad nauseum, lack of serious discussion on the topic matter, and poor audio quality I am calling it a day. Sometimes it’s 10 minutes before they actually settle down and start talking about what they are supposed to be talking about. I’m sure a millennial might enjoy it, but not this GenXer.
