Introducing PLAGUE: Untold Stories of AIDS and the Catholic Church

Introducing PLAGUE: Untold Stories of AIDS and the Catholic Church

In "Plague" journalist Michael O'Loughlin investigates stories of the AIDS epidemic and the Catholic Church. Mike is America’s national correspondent and he’s covered Catholicism for more than a decade. Mike is also gay and Catholic—and he’s curious how others manage this sometimes complex identity.
No time in modern history has been more volatile for gay Catholics than the height of the AIDS epidemic. So he spent the last few years interviewing people who were right in the middle of it. People who fought, worked and grieved through it.
Episode 1 will be available on World AIDS Day, December 1, wherever you get your podcasts. Find out more at www.americamag.org/plague

Can't believe I didn't know about this!

I just found out about America Media podcast through the website which I read regularly (although I don't have a subscription since I live in far too many different places throughout the year) & am overjoyed. Please have Jesuitical advertise for you! Their fan base would be all over this

Great podcast!

This is an excellent podcast. I really like that one topic is covered in depth in each episode. The topics are interesting and timely. Even when there's an episode where I'm not particularly interested in the topic, I give it a try, and I'm always glad that I did.
