Episode 21 • Bonus Episode • The Marquis de Lafayette / Hero of Two Worlds

    Hello Fellow Patriots!

Marquis de Lafayette was a French military hero and political leader who played a key role in both the American Revolution and the French Revolution.  Why would someone so rich and powerful leave it all to come fight in a war for a country he didn't even live in?  What were his contributions for America's independence?  How did he become so close and one of the trusted people in George Washington's life?  I answer these questions, along with his childhood, life in France, his relationship with George Washington, and his lasting impact on America in this episode.

Get ready to learn about one of history's most fascinating figures, his contributions and one that all Americans should know about.

Episode 20 • The First Continental Congress, 1774 • The American Revolution, Founding Fathers and More

    Hello Fellow Patriots!

Today I talk about the First Continental Congress.  Who attended?  What did they talk about?  Why was this so important to the colonies and eventual independence?  What happened after they left?  What was the response from King George II and England?  Learn the answers to these questions and so much more, in this descriptive episode.  I had a difficult goal set for this podcast, that is, making a 6-week meeting of 56 delegates not only interesting, but engaging and exciting.  Did I succeed?

This episode is the longest one I've done to date, and also the first show of 2023!

Episode 19 • BONUS EPISODE • The Crossing of the Delaware / Battles of Trenton and Princeton

    Hello Fellow Patriots!

This show is being released on December 31, which is the time frame of the topic of today's show!

Today I talk about the Crossing of the Delaware, who was there, how it was done and discuss the details often overlooked.  I discuss the 10-mile march to Trenton, what happened at the battles of Trenton and Princeton, and how these victories not only changed the morale and the trajectory of the Continental Army, but the entire war.  I dive deep into this one and is the longest show I've done to date, so a good one to end the year 2022 with.

Episode 18 • The Tea Act and The Boston Tea Party • The American Revolution, Our Founding Fathers and More

    Hello Fellow Patriots!

Ironically, this show is being released on December 16, which is the same date of the Boston Tea Party, 249 years ago.

Who was behind the Tea Party?  How many people were involved?  Do we have actual names of anyone that participated?  Answers to these, and other questions about this event, are given.

The Boston Tea Party, and what England did afterwards, can be considered the pivotal point on the road to the American Revolution.

Episode 16 • The Battle of Alamance & The Gaspee Affair • The American Revolution, Our Founding Fathers and More

Welcome Patriots!   In this episode I cover two important events that are rarely spoken about and not listed in most American Revolution timelines.  The Battle of Alamance took place over 2 hours in North Carolina, a year after the Boston Massacre.  An important battle for many reasons, we discuss all of them and more. Then, we move onto what many call the first naval battle of the Revolution, The Gaspee Affair.  This event illustrates just how fed up the Rhode Island colonists were with England.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy our discussion.

Stefania Marie ,

Amazing Podcast!

I enjoy listening to all of the episodes and was excited to see the bonus episode of Washington’s crossing right on schedule, which really portrays the dedication/passion of his work. I reside in the Trenton/Princeton area and it is rich in revolutionary era history, so to hear about the many details and stories of these events was a special treat! Appreciate all the information and hours of research in sharing our country’s history! God Bless America!

Love it

I enjoy reading about the figures of this era and enjoy getting a review from this passionate host.

Great to hear sincere commentary, criticism, and opinions from a podcast that does not have the default setting of hating America.
