    Monday, October 12, 2026: Potty Training Probs; PJ Day; Muppet Debacle!

    Hugh Hefners' widow is feeling a lot of thoughts about Jessica Biehl portraying her in an upcoming film. She does not want her role to be glorified; that's for sure! Anna visits his gravestone occasionally. (And unintentionally)   Michelle Boylstein, Executive Director Halloween & Costume Association, joins Anna and Raven to discuss what's hot and trending and what's coming back, adult and kid!   Potty training problems... If your 3-year-old will not use the toilet but will go in his diaper (while hiding) and then announce he’s done, is something wrong? This week's parent panel will discuss if this is a problem, or if it'll pass!   Rainy football games, fun fall activities, and moving! We’re you mad, sad, or glad this weekend? If it was all of the above, you have to just pick one!  Apparently high schoolers no longer want to participate in homecoming. If they wont, we will! It is spirit week for the Anna and Raven Show. Up first, Pajama day! Here’s what your PJs say about you!  Anna, Raven, Producer Justin, and Producer Sophia are being the Muppets for Halloween. Are we conjoining the Sesame Street Muppets and the Ogs? Are we not? Help us out!   Kelly Clarkson was majorly embarrassed this weekend when she was humbled at a store for showing interest in an expensive item. Yikes! That’s a good way to shoot yourself in the foot as a small  business owner.   Jessica has a chance to win $2,200! All he has to do is answer more pop culture questions than Raven in Can’t Beat Raven!      Trish and Ryan's daughter struggles to make friends at school. She’s in 5th grade and has had two failed playdates in her life. Ryan says let’s help, let’s post on the Mom’s Facebook page and offer parents cash for their kids to come play with their daughter. Just an incentive for parents to have their kids engage with their child and hopefully help her build her relationship skills. Trish is mortified at the thought, but in the past, she has posted asking for help and hasn’t gotten any responses, maybe a cash incentive isn’t the worst idea? What do you think?

Anna and Raven discuss their necessities.   Unfortunately, highschoolers no longer have any interest in attending homecoming or school dances. Oh, how the times have changed.     How come in America we trust everyone with our credit cards? No where else in the world runs away with your card. This rest of the world does not approve of Americans dining habits. Rightfully so.   Carly Schildhaus- Candy expert National Confectioners Association joins Anna and Raven to discuss candy and this year's trends that come along with the sweet treats!  Restaurant injuries... They’re inevitable. Sometimes though, they may not be truthful! Anna experienced an attention seeking spaghetti sleeper, perhaps for a free meal?  Florida women steals over $3,000 using self checkout during 18 trips to the store, hotel workers steal $7800 in lobster tail and pork belly, Woman accused of posing as a substitute teacher berating students! See what Raven chooses to hear!  How much do they know about the wylie coyote riding a rocket? Better yet, how much do you know? See where you fall with Producer Justin!    What’s the Halloween costume that your parents made you wear that you hated! Also, when is it considered appropriation? Here are the worst of the worst.  The unemployment rate is going up. Not the best time to be on the lookout. But, we all have that one job that we wouldn’t go back to even if we were severely desperate.   Amy and Randy had booked their regular babysitter last weekend, but last minute didn’t feel like going out and canceled her. They were really surprised when they got a Venmo request for $50 as “babysitting cancelation”. Amy says it’s only fair, she had kept the Saturday open for them and they canceled an hour before they were supposed to go out, they should compensate her. Randy says she’s a 23-year-old college student! She probably still went out and having a cancellation fee is ridiculous and wants to text her to tell her no thanks.     Wednesday, October 7, 2026: Spider Season; Accidental Trauma; Halloween Candy Lawsuit!

    For the first time in her life, Anna can’t see. 20/20 vision her whole life and now she can’t see grocery store items. Raven is no better. Time flies. Here are the doctors people fear the most.   Talk me out of it! The transition between months happening now is a time to make decisions you may or may not regret. Let Anna and Raven know your proposition, and they will either root you on... or off!  Not only is it Anna’s witch voice season, it is also mating season for spiders. They are out and there are a LOT of them. Anna and Raven discuss awful spider encounters and also are joined by a spider specialist, Jennifer O’Donnell. Unspooky Halloween candy? Reeses pumpkins are facing “false advertising” claims for their chocolate not having the printed face shown on the wrapper.  What Halloween candy is the biggest rip-off? Trash Day. Not that kind...social media trash day. Who did you block so that you could forgot they existed and never see their content? Anna was slightly surprised when she rediscovered hers. Anna made a rookie parenting mistake and showed her daughter videos on the Salem Witch trials. Now, she will not stopping about it. She also may be scarred for life. What scarred you for life? Reed is going on a work trip for two nights. His co-worker is rooming with him for the trip but he’s also having his wife stay with them. Reed's wife, Shayna is absolutely against another woman being in the room, even though she’ll be with her husband. Reed sees no issue and says it’s two nights; her husband will be in bed with her, the company is tight for cash so they didn’t offer his own room. She says it's inappropriate regardless.     Tuesday, October 6, 2026: Ravens Possessions; Beat Boxers; Costume Voting!

    Anna has come to a weird realization that she is in her final years to decide whether she should have another baby or not. A strange time of life. Then she was pelted by pretzels on a recent flight, and decision may be made.   It is only taking two weeks for college freshman to decide this year they are no longer living on campus. Should students have the option to leave that soon if they aren't enjoying it? Or stick it out?   Do you have a discontinued name? For most mid-lifers, there are no more of you being more! There are not many baby lisas running around. Anna and Raven discuss expired names  It’s throw out Tuesday. Raven is currently decluttering his house. Today, Ravens wife, Alicia, talks about Raven trashing her special edition Dirty Dancing DVD.  Justin Timberlake is apologizing. It’s not for any of the illegal things he did, but for his beat boxing. Don't worry Justin will take it from here. So now, a beat boxing competition.  Anna has realized now more than ever she is completely stereotyped when she steps into an uber. They play music cause she works in radio. An uber driver showed her his recent AI music. VIVA SOMALIA!  Since its thrown out Tuesday, Raven brings in some items he has an emotional attachment to for Anna to review and throw out.    The final costumes are in and we need your help[! What should Anna, Raven, Producer Sophia, and Producer Justin be for Halloween? Dolly Parton eras, Birds of a feather, or the Muppets?   Chris and Maia drop their daughter Elle off every Thursday at Maias mom's house as they both work late that day. They are a strictly no added sugar/no dyes household. Chris found out Maias' mom has been giving her dessert every time she is there. She is aware of the rule and is not paying any mind to it. Chris is fuming, why do they enforce it at home to let her slip up? Maia says once a week won't kill her. Whose side are you on?   Maribeth has a chance to win $1,800!     Irritable Male Syndrome. Duh. Its the Male version of perimenopause. Because women can’t have anything for themselves, right?! Manopause is a weird and possible real thing... though. Raven is safe.   Annas daughter has been extremely nervous to dissect in high school. Anna lied to her and said it’s not bad and great to learn. In reality, she had her mom exempt her with a note when she was supposed to.   Anna still has not gotten through with the scam of a dress she bought recently. A lot of money very much wasted. Thanks a lot Merchesa! Does anyone win with customer service?  Recruiter Caitlin went viral and made just a few people mad after she says that your latte should be left home when going to an interview. Today, she talks about the case!  Raven had a closet clean out productive weekend; Anna has a very special guest to join. Producer Sophia broke her pants. Too much dinner. How was your weekend? Mad, Sad or Glad?   Dakota Johnson brought out Taylor Swift when she hosted SNL this weekend. She claims Taylor is her therapist. Anna has some thoughts about her new tracks.   Anna and Raven are hiring! However, Anna can’t believe some applications and resumes she has received.  Producer Sophia is trying to plan a group Halloween costume for her, Anna, Raven, and Justin. They need help! Any ideas? Send us your ideas!   Greg got into a physical fight with their son’s flag football coach. He felt that he wasn’t playing his son because he’s small, the coach scoffed at him and he pushed him. Now, his son is devastated and doesn’t want to play anymore. Plus, he doesn’t even know if he can because after the fight was broken up (that happened in front of the kids), they left and haven’t heard from anyone. His wife, Mallory, thinks her husband needs to call the coach, apologize, and see where they go from here. He says the coach owes him an apology for making that face when he talked about his son’s size and he wants to start his own flag football league in the town. What do you think?
