The Apple of Truth is a bi-weekly podcast where we nerd out about our favourite shows, episode by episode, while trying to stay spoiler free. Right now we are covering The Sandman and we hope to enrich your dreams and haunt your nightmares.
Beware! There will be swearing, poking fun at religion, general overabundance of fangirling and probably pointless discussions, but since we have shitloads of fun with this, we hope you can laugh with us.

This is a long one, so get some tea (or something stronger) and settle in.
There is A LOT of thirsting in this episode, curtesy of more Corinthian screentime, there are quite a few disagreements about various character motivations, there are some funny misunderstandings, there is the usual amount of debating incredibly important sidenotes and after a long time we finally have some language lessons again!

Episode 139: TAOT The Sandman S1E06
The duality of this episode worked really well for us, with essentially two separate stories and two new characters introduced, we had few reasons to complain. That being said, we still found some.
However the mutual enjoyment was much more important!

Our final John episode and Lina is very sad. But aside from that, we really loved this one!
Vero has some interesting feelings about this, Lina is a bit confused, there are some special moments for each of us and despite staying mostly on track, we still managed to go on longer than planned.

Great Lucifer episode by episode deep dive podcast!
This has been a great companion to a recent Lucifer rewatch! I’m noticing lots of new details that I hadn’t before. Plus they go in depth on the music on the show, which was one of the things that hooked me into this show. I think the end of season wrap up episodes are my favorite. If you’re a Lucifan, then this a must listen podcast!
Devil of a podcast (in a good way)
I’m a HUGE Luci-fan and needed a fix in between season 5a and this long stretched out agonizing wait for season 5b. This was just what I needed. To be honest the first few episodes took some perseverance to get through but now I cannot stop listening to these two ladies! I wish I could give them a 10 star rating because of how much attention to detail they go into and their devilish deep dives are so satisfying. Thank you for giving us the Luci-pod that we never knew we needed! The devil is definitely in the details.
Awesome Podcast
I’m not usually that into podcasts, but I love Lucifer and figured I would give this podcast a try. I love it! It’s very satisfying to listen to people discuss some of my favorite and least favorite things about the show—sometimes even introducing new perspectives I’ve never considered before. I also love how they both approach the series with such different angles of thinking while maintaining a sense of humor and an overall positive view of the show. This has been a lot of fun, and I’m looking to upcoming episodes. 10 out of 10, would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of Lucifer.
